Quick & Easy Five Ingredient Cuban Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oroweat 100% Whole Wheat Sandwich Thins rolls
  • 3-4 oz. low-sodium, lean, smoked ham, thinly sliced
  • 1 thin slice reduced-fat provolone cheese
  • 6-7 small slices of dill pickle
  • 1 tbsp. yellow mustard

Instructions

  1. Split all ingredients evenly onto one side of the Sandwich Thins roll, beginning with mustard, ham, cheese and pickles.
  2. Top with mustard and the other Sandwich Thins roll side.
  3. Place in a sandwich press or, place in a hot skillet and press down on the sandwich with a heavy saucepan.
  4. Once sandwich is heated through, about 3 to 5 minutes, remove from heat and dig in!
  5. BYOC - Be Your Own Chef moment: Add some spice by topping with your favorite hot, chili or pepper sauce!
