Spicy Lemon-Honey Berries On Creamy Almond Butter Toast

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of oroweat Organics 22 Grains & Seeds bread
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter
  • 2 tablespoons 0% fat Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons orange honey, or honey of choice
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 6 medium sliced strawberries
  • 6 sliced blackberries or berry of choice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped or sliced almonds
  • 4 medium mint leaves, chiffonade
  • 8-10 very small basil leaves

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, mix almond butter and yogurt until blended.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a small bowl, mix honey, lemon juice and hot sauce until blended.
  4. Gently toss strawberries, blackberries, and almonds in honey.
  5. Set aside.
  6. Toast both slices of {brand_name}.
  7. Spread toast with a layer of creamy almond butter.
  8. Top with lemon-honey glazed berries and almonds.
  9. Sprinkle mint and basil leaves over berries, and serve.
